OBJECTIVE
Burghley Horse Trials is a world-renowned three-day event packed with exhilarating equestrian action. Beyond the competition, spectators can explore a variety of shopping avenues, offering a unique experience alongside world-class sport.
Our objective was to deliver a premium food & drink experience that appealed to the event’s audience along with ultra-fast payment solutions.
APPROACH
We carefully selected street food trucks that would appeal to the premium demographic attending the Burghley Horse Trials. Our diverse food & drink offering ranged from afternoon tea, traditional toasties and Pimm’s, to gourmet tacos, game dishes and loaded fries. There was something for all spectators to enjoy. The Costa Coffee outlet was a standout success, offering an appealing range of hot drinks, as well as a wide selection of sandwiches, wraps, cakes and more.
FEP-PAY’s payment solutions kept queuing times to a minimum, allowing spectators to get back to the equestrian action without delays whilst enjoying food-to-go.
Working in partnership with the Burghley Horse Trials, we promoted the food & drink line up to spectators before the event. Loyal followers of the the Burghley Horse Trials social media channels viewed the menu highlights and food map ahead of attending. During the event days, social media collaborations amplified the outstanding spectator experience.
